Curriculum Structure
To earn a Ph.D. in Multicultural Studies degree, a student must take a minimum 12 credits of coursework and 36 credits of Ph.D. dissertation. The coursework consists of three core courses and one elective course usually taking within two semesters.
     Program Links

The student must pass a written and oral qualifying examination prior to the submission of dissertation proposal. The purpose of the examination is to determine whether a student will be recommended to continue working toward the Ph.D. degree. All Ph.D. candidates also require to submit their research proposal to an academic committee. The proposal should clearly define the topic and methodology that the students are interested in undertaking for Ph.D. dissertation.
