Furthermore, China has maintained a longstanding diplomatic relationship with Thailand for over 47 years, dating back to 1975, through the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia. For more than five years, this institute has provided academic services specifically tailored to Chinese students, resulting in remarkable success and widespread acceptance within the Chinese student community. In light of these circumstances, the research group has established the Chinese-Thai Studies Group. This group places significant emphasis on interdisciplinary research, examining various aspects that connect China and Thailand. These aspects encompass language, culture, beliefs, faith, cuisine, history, politics, government, economy, and diverse social conditions. Furthermore, the group aims to cultivate a comprehensive knowledge base related to the study of China-Thailand dynamics, generating valuable insights that contribute to the development of researchers within the group. Additionally, the group seeks to extend the application of research outcomes by providing policy guidance, expanding academic service offerings, and fostering collaborative networks with scholars worldwide who share an interest in Chinese-Thai studies across diverse contexts. The Chinese-Thai Studies (CTS) Group will also facilitate learning exchanges and serve as a platform for scholars from all regions of the world to engage in the study of Chinese-Thai studies.
