This question has particularly stimulated the field of migration and ethnic studies, which has seen a surge in research. The COVID-19 pandemic has had profound impacts on our lives and introduced new communication styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this talk, we will explore the impact of COVID-19 on Japanese society. The presentation will begin with a brief review of changes in migration research perspectives within Japanese sociological studies. It will then discuss the growing diversification of ethnic communities in central Tokyo.
