Cultural Diversity and Well-being (CDWe)

Cultural Diversity and Well-being (CDWe) Research Group: The objective of the short-term research group spanning a four-year period (2021-2024) is to examine the impact of cultural variances resulting from migration. Specifically, it aims to investigate the localization and demographic shifts towards an aging society, and their implications for the well-being of individuals and society across multiple dimensions. This undertaking represents a significant challenge of the 21st century, requiring a cultural lens to enhance scholarly endeavors and inform policy and management recommendations concerning the preservation of order. Additionally, the research group seeks to address the reconciliation of human rights and cultural rights, while also highlighting the prospects of economic development stemming from migration in the Thai context, while simultaneously fostering international connectivity.
