The Digital Humanities, Language, and Society (D-HULS) Research Group is dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary research in the realm of speech and language technologies. The group explores various areas of study, including linguistics and translation, language and identity in the digital world, digital anthropology, digital ethnography, behavioral science in the context of the digital age, and communication behavior through online media. It serves as a collaborative hub for researchers in fields such as linguistics, translation, education, computer engineering, sociology, anthropology, cultural studies, communication arts, and behavioral sciences. Moreover, the group aims to cultivate a new generation of graduate-level researchers who possess a keen interest in integrating knowledge from their respective fields with modern digital technology. It focuses on conducting research on language and social dynamics in the digital age, as well as applying digital technology to promote community and social development.
